THE ELEMENTS THAT MATTER
Elements inside the machines that define modern life.
Strip back an electric vehicle, a jet engine, a surgical robot or a wind turbine and you find the same short list of critical minerals doing the work. The rare earths Chilwa has identified at Lake Chilwa include the four that matter most for high-performance magnets — neodymium, praseodymium, dysprosium and terbium — the elements that drive the motors inside EVs, industrial robots and medical robotics. Titanium minerals and niobium go into the lightweight, high-strength alloys behind aircraft and jet engines. Tantalum and gallium sit within the capacitors, chips and sensors that let those machines compute, sense and move. Different minerals, one role: making the technologies the modern world runs on possible.
Chilwa has previously announced the presence of 16 out of 17 elements on the ASX.

WHERE WE WORK
Lake Chilwa in Southern Malawi
Chilwa Minerals Limited (ASX: CHW) is a Southern Malawi-focused critical minerals explorer advancing four concurrent programmes within its licenses: a Heavy Mineral Sands project along the northern and western shores of Lake Chilwa, a carbonatite-hosted REE exploration programme across the broader license package, a niobium-REE-tantalum-gallium discovery at the Mpyupyu alkaline intrusive target (Nakombe), and an emerging ionic clay REE programme targeting leachable rare earth elements within the weathering profile of the Chilwa Alkaline Complex.
The Company is uniquely positioned with multiple critical mineral exposures within our license area in one of Africa’s most prospective underexplored alkaline provinces.

"Several critical minerals in one district, in a country that wants to see them developed. Our job is to prove that up responsibly, and to make sure Malawi and our shareholders both share in what it becomes.
We're not chasing a single commodity down a single hole. We're developing a district, and the minerals it holds are the ones the modern world can't do without."
